Six Weeks in Pictures

Well, it's been a while, but now that we're going home we'll try to keep this updated more often. Our last post covered our activities over the holidays, but here's what we've been doing since then:

Matthew and Steven both really enjoyed their trips to the museum with their grandparents. Steven in particular is going through a dinosaur-loving phase of his life, but Matthew enjoys them as well and loved the skeletons.

You can just hear him thinking "I think this thing could eat me ... where's Grandma?"

The giant shark - this thing could obviously eat all four of them without problem.

Playing with a favorite toy at Grandpa and Grandma's house:

Dancing with Grandma and cousin Aubrey:

No, Aunt Kellie, THIS is how you eat with chopsticks!

Steven's been going to preschool every afternoon, which has been great. Not only for us getting a bit of free time, but also for him to be in an environment with other kids and more structure than he usually gets at home. Here he is getting out of school:

Bobbie and her sisters and cousin Beth:

One of the best things about being here is the ability to go outside in the winter! I took Matthew and Steven to the park a week or so ago, and we had lots of fun.

Oh, and also in the last six weeks was Bobbie's ... um ... 23rd birthday! Yay for her!

Steven celebrates Mommy blowing out the candles like she's just won the World Cup. Matthew stares stoically.

Sneaky boy! Not to mention sneaky Mommy, who should have been spanking you instead of taking your picture!

Our farewell dinner (and last steak for a while) :*(

Matthew is here to say "Goodbye," and also that our next post will come at you from R-land again!
